i feel an ache that turns into anger for briony, for the lie that tore apart two hearts that only ever longed for each other. robbie dreamed of the story beginning anew, of becoming again the man who once walked through the fading light with hope and love alive in him, reaching for cecilia. and cecilia kept saying “come back to me”, as if her words could pull him through distance and time. their love was eternal yet unfinished, written in the language of waiting and loss… this movie, left me quiet, grieving for a love that lived so fiercely yet never found its home.
