A Time to Kill
A hard watch for the right reasons.
If you ever want to feel like you’re part of a live jury on a federal case, the last 10 minutes of this movie will put you right there. Including one of the wildest punchlines ever known to mankind.
I really connected with the characters. (Almost) All of them for obvious reasons. Matthew McConaughey is incredible, I personally think its his best performance. Sandra is brilliant, and you can tell Samuel L Jackson really feels his role.
My only issue with the movie is how it frames the opposition. It sometimes feels like if you think Carl Lee is guilty, you’re automatically aligned with the KKK.
On a lighter note, this might actually be the sweatiest movie I’ve ever seen. Everyone looks like they’re melting in every scene.
