this movie will never leave my top 4. can’t think of a real review here are two quotes i like from this movie I think at the end of the day i’m just-  I know. were wild animals.  I guess we always were  Our tree may never grow back. but one day something will.

“You’re so intent on seeing no magic in the world, but you miss it in every blade of grass and budding flower.” Wildwood is one of the most visually compelling movies i have ever seen. when a movie supplements mediocre writing with dramatic establishing shots i usually hate it, but there isn’t a single frame in this movie that feels disconnected from the magic of the film and the world the animators have created. i was moved to tears multiple times for so many different reasons. part of the beauty of this movie is how much nuance the layers of the story have; how far would you go for family?  "Theres a happily ever now"
