Kokuho

i think this was my first time watching a three hour japanese film in a cinema. every single scene felt necessary. nothing felt dragged out, nothing felt like filler. it really earned that runtime. i honestly cannot think of a single moment that needed to be cut. what really got me tho was the visual side of it. the makeup, the costumes, and especially the kabuki performance scenes. every time they went on stage i was just gagged. it was so detailed and sooo beautiful also soya was amazing. i just know he's going to be big. i'll be waiting for his next projects
