as a wee lad i was always freaked out by tv static and whatnot, but surprisingly Poltergeist never really got to me, even after seeing it at a nice, clean nine years old. this would've got to me. this would've fucked me up. would probably have nightmares. ESPECIALLY if it was back when my family used an antenna on the TV still.
