A Separation
“But I know that he’s my father”
PEAK. The story is told so perfectly that it makes you feel involved in the whole situation, from the pity you feel for the grandpa to the caregiver’s situation and her religious guilt that carries her action and throws her into dilemmas between her sins and her husband’s life, making you question who’s side you’re on every minute. The acting was so good that the fights between the main couple make you scared to miss a single subtitle. The ending with the credits separating them was so beautiful. Ethically and dramatically perfect.
