“Fucking Irish Catholics” — Shawn Hatosy, 2026 Honestly the first movie did *not *need a sequel, and this is by no means better in any way, but I had so much fucking fun. Tonally a lot different but still enjoyable. Samara is brilliant and Kathryn gave me some genuine laugh out loud moments. Shawn Hatosy is skeevy as fuck and excels in this, and Elijah Wood is SO MUCH FUN. I had a blast. Is it a perfect movie? No! Was it even necessary? Not remotely! But who cares!!!! Also some really great song moments including Grace singing the hide and seek song from the first movie

this was kinda shit but Lewis Pullman is so beautiful and charming and I would like to see him in more romcoms

what is UP with reviews these days? must a movie be good? can it not simply have lewis pullman looking incredibly handsome while playing a man who is objectively SO useless and awful in all ways except for the fact that he's the best boyfriend ever? must a movie be enjoyable? can it not have gabrielle union fighting for her life in a totally different genre to everybody else while i'm actively cackling as lewis pullman sexily holds a baby that they didn't even try to convince me wasn't a doll? i had a great time. got some really solid laughs out of me. terrible movie 10/10 will be watching again
