not so surprisingly for an oscar-winning movie, I liked it SURPRISING FOR A HORROR MOVIE, I loved it. I’m a big horror hater so this was clearly weird to me, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m not saying the horror genre as a whole is bad or anything, as it would be quite egocentric and all. It’s just never been my scene at all. I generally don’t enjoy horror films, I find myself bored, not scared, and just watching a movie which the goal of is not interesting to me. But I loved all the relationships between the characters, I did get chills at the horror part, and I just overly loved how beautiful (and beautifully done) the movie was. I do think the horror part kind of came and went out of thin air- like okay they first appeared when the white guy went into the house, but otherwise there was no really indicator of the vampires existing beforehand. But that’s a me issue, pretty sure I wasn’t attentive enough that’s my bad. (I will rewatch this anyway because this was awesome. Also kudos to Michael Jordan cause I never watched any of his movies before and GOD DAMN he’s good. I fell in love with his acting I can’t put five really, cause again, I don’t enjoy horror that much enough to put five, but I’m way too tired to actually explain how and why- Already I feel this review doesn’t make much sense because I’m tired enough that my english stop englishing. Sooo

NOOO NOT MY BABY EPONINE !! COME BACK GIRL COME BAAAAACK PLEAASE (and Enjolras and Grantaire and everyone actually..my babies…) A friend dragged me into this fandom and now I’m way too attached to the revolutionaries.

Had to leave at almost the end of the movie because I felt really sick, but I’m still gonna say I watched it CUZ I PAYED FOR IT enjoyable, but a little boring. Love Josh O’connor, the reason why I went to watch it
