movie about absolutely nothing in particular but it all flows so nicely. i hate the hazing scene though

FUCK THIS MOVIE i FULLY believe that the tunnel scene is like one of the best scenes ever. this movie really reminds me of that one quote, “there is so much pain in the world but not in this room.” everyone’s dealing with their own issues, external or internal, no ones ever entirely happy. i’ve had so many experiences similar to charlie. i’ve lost myself countless times, but i always feel like i’ve found *me *again while listening to one song in one car driving with my favorite people ever. and they’ve dealt with as much pain as i have, and we experience it all differently, but IN THIS MOMENT WE ARE INFINITE!!!!! i graduate in 12 days. i won’t miss anything except for my friends. and the routine, maybe. i love this movie, it has so much emotional depth and transfers ALLL OF ITTT to the viewer. i ugly sobbed at the ending. and now it’s like 12 am and i’ve almost finished my last full week of high school. ever. i finally got my chord for film, after taking it 5 semesters straight!! i’m about to leave everything i’ve known, hated, and loved in the next year. it’s unfamiliar and a little terrifying but i’m learning to be okay with it. this is the first time in my life where i’ve felt wanted. all my friends by lcd soundsystem has been on repeat. i would not trade one stupid decision for another 5 years of life! thank god i have a life worth feeling nostalgic over. again, fuck this movie in the best way possible.

vices and virtues brendon urie was also an awakening for me. this is so aggressively late 2010s but idk im not mad about it i think this takes place in georgia??? im also still closeted for the most part??? and i like panic!? is this fucking play about us???? on a more personal note i loved how simon was represented. i'm obviously not a gay man, but experiencing queerness is such a personal thing. i really resonated with him in so many different ways, and his mom’s speech about allowing yourself to exhale was kind of a revelation?? in a weird way? i’ve never been open about my sexuality, mostly cause i’ve never been able to put a label on it. it’s always just seemed like such a taboo subject for me to *actually *think about, weirdly enough. i’d assume most people in my life would be supportive, my friends have kinda gotten the gist of me not being straight, and i’ve felt safe in that grey area. naturally being “different” in the south, people have always assumed i was a lesbian. in the past i would always get so angry about that, and looking back it was more out of self hatred. i’ve always been in so much denial about the fact that i DO actually prefer women!!! as cheesy and cliche as this movie is, it’s existence is so so important. and i don’t know why i even decided to watch this, cause going into it i didn’t expect much, but i came out (ha) of it with a new perspective of myself. as much as i love pain and anguish in movies, it’s nice to see a queer character be happy for once

i think this was a pepsi ad i did not enjoy this,, unfortunately
