So underrated underrated underrated At first I thought this was gonna be some dumb romantic comedy but it wasn't dumb at all. It's actually hilarious, so many meme moments. That scene where the main guy's like you wouldn't dare n the girl just straight up says watch me n whacks him across the face with a cane she borrowed from some old dude on a bench. Dude just falls straight into the bushes n she gives the cane back n walks off like nothing happened. Gold Then they're by that church diggin somethin up n they both trip, he's holdin this rock tryna not drop it, she's tryna read somethin. Just perfect McConaughey's character was so charismatic n fun. Yeah it's basically an adventure romcom but damn it's so good Turns out I really love characters who act exactly like my arcana. My arcana's the Wheel of Fortune, the 10th one. N McConaughey's character in this is literally that. Bright, fun, ready to light up everyone around them, always runnin somewhere to the end of the earth lookin for somethin, believin in miracles n treasure even when their life's a mess. Sunshine characters. So fuckin cool
