**Defy The Gods. But Can You? ** I kept thinking the film was asking whether we're nothing more than puppets to the gods—ants wandering through a world whose language we'll never understand. But by the end, that wasn't the question anymore. Odysseus survives every monster the gods place before him, only to realize the greatest catastrophe wasn't written entirely by divine hands. He returns home carrying the weight of Troy, the ghosts of every man who trusted him, and the unbearable truth that the darkness marching toward Ithaca had been himself all along. That's what stayed with me. Not the spectacle, not the scale—but the tragedy of surviving long enough to understand the cost of survival.

I am groot. I am groot. I am groot. We are groot. Dancing little groot.

One of the few MCU films that feels completely confident in its identity. It's not trying to be a superhero movie disguised as a spy thriller—it IS a spy thriller. The action is raw, the score is genuinely unnerving, and every time the Winter Soldier appears, the film changes temperature. Just ridiculously cool.

It's crazy that this somehow contains the emotional space of an entire TV series in two hours. Every character feels like they existed long before the film began, and the third act pays off everything with ridiculous confidence. I could pretend to have something intelligent to say about the themes. Fuck it. It's just really fucking good.
