The more and more I consume cinema, the more I realise how less of it I know and understand. I hate the rating 4 so much!!! Because everything from 3.7 to 4.2 is 4 on letterboxd !! Because sometimes it's a low 4. Sometimes it's a high 4. Sometimes it's below 4. Sometimes it's just 4!!

I absolutely love how this film can be extremely creepy and extremely goofy at the same time and excel at both. Highly creative, seen nothing like it before. I also love how this film doesn't try to be upto date with the technology with super clean CGI and vfx (comparing to the films that came out during this era) but instead fully commits to old school cinematic tricks and editing. It takes pride in the technology it has available, no matter how outdated it would look and that makes it look more iconic than the ones who were trying to be modern. (Kinda reminds me of courage the cowardly dog in that way).
