HyperNormalisation
I’m not particularly knowledgeable on the documentary genre, and this is my first one from Adam Curtis (definitely watching more after this), so while I understand some of the criticisms on here, this film just completely works for me anyway.
Almost 3 hours long and I would’ve happily watched hours more. An insanely engaging and cinematically satisfying explainer on the making of the bed that we’re all forced to sleep in, now and seemingly forever. A decade since its release, everything described here has only become more relevant. Unfortunately the sheets aren’t getting any fresher. It’s a static, grim age.
