really liked the scene where he was talking about looking at the moon and not at the finger pointing at it, could not take the fight scenes seriously because of the sounds he was making

as always nolan's soundtrack and sound effect game is never ending & he never fails to speed up everyone's heartbeat with this bass, he is one director you for sure HAVE to watch in a cinema

Okay my opinion has changed a bit since the last time I watched this. I remember this was also one of the first experimental stuff I watched, hence my previous rating. About the film itself, when someone says "the capitalist dream" I think of the image this movie portrays. A society so desensitized, that they seek feeling in pain and any attempts for actual feeling and being human are laughed at and frowned upon. Still any scene with Egg is just perfection to me. The taboo-ness of her rape and assault is perfectly pictured, the way she walks into her room that is literally a child's room and turns the tv on to news of people being killed & a christian preacher that was on when she got assaulted as well. And sadly the more I interact with the news and the more I am updated about what's going on in the world, the more it's starting to look like this movie.

the scene where he tears himself open and looks so happy could be used on me as emotional torture, this resonated with me so well on so many planes (psychic too)
