From the first scene you realise you are watching something truly remarkable the feeling doesn't go away till the last scene. It's to this day the most impactful hindi film I have ever scene. The music the acting the writing are perfection. This is the best social commentry I have ever witnessed. It came out in late 50s but it's way ahead of it's time. I will urge everyone to watch this film it is one of a kind. It's also the life story of Guru Dutt in a way.
