"Possession" is a film that defies convention and expectation, at once disorienting and unsettling. It initially presents itself as a typical drama or romance, but subtle clues hint at something more peculiar, reminiscent of David Lynch or Franz Kafka. As the story unfolds, the tension builds steadily, culminating in moments of horror that seem straight out of the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
While "Possession" may not be a widely recognized mainstream horror film, it is certainly one that deserves more attention. The movie has received a decent rating but it is still far too easy to overlook. With its unconventional approach to horror and its strong performances, "Possession" is a film that should be experienced by anyone looking for something unique and thought-provoking in the horror genre.
