Gladiator II

Embarrassed to report I have never seen the first Gladiator… but for what these films are, it was entertaining enough. As someone easily turned off by anything war-related, the pacing of this kept me engaged. Found some of the acting cringey at best, and the relationship of Lucius to others was a little tricky to follow as someone who hadn’t seen the first film. Most importantly I am still wondering— what happened to the monkey? I mean he’s technically still an advisor right??
