Hamnet
I have so many thoughts that I don’t know where to start, first of all I believed the movie was going to be boring and slow I WAS SO WRONG. Even though it is a bit slow at the end you are never bored, if you think you are not going to cry OH MY LORD I had never cried at the cinema before but the last scene…
All the acting is magnificent, Jessie Buckley is so wonderful and makes you feel her agony of losing a child like no one. How is a kid one of the best acting of last year? Paul Mescal Hates to see me coming to his movies were he is a deeply troubled man, he was so robed for not being nominated by the academy.
I will say a month ago my fav film of 2025 was Weapons but Sentimental Value and Hamnet are just other level. Both films are heavy, impactful, depressing and amazing.
Jessie Buckley YOU ARE GETTING THAT OSCAR
Also I didn’t understand a little what will said on the play cause I was crying and Shakespeare language is definitely not for me, it sounded poetic so I cried more.
