I do love Ari Asters art direction sb😖 I found the beginning a bit bland, not the biggest ‘outcast kid is scary’ thing. I wouldn’t say this movie scared me but the performances were haunting. Could've done without the flying reallyyyyy ruined my emersion. Now that I know that Ari aster can make a great movie under 2 1/2 hours I don’t understand why he doesn’t just stick to that 🙏
