Guillermo Del Toro's true to baroque, clerical style of the original novel is amongst many things i love about this movie. The other thing i feel like there are some great banters and ideas between him and Hideo Kojima like the Dark Angel and the coffins imagery resemblance to Higgs symbolic figure in Death Stranding 2. I really admire Guillermo Del Toro dedication as i found the fact he had been ambitiously shaping this movie for over 20 years which is crazy, and he successfully executed the whole thing, with Oscar Isaac as a damned genius doctor who defied the law of God to create synthetic human being, and Jacob Elordi as The Creature who seek its true identity throughout the madness of the life from its perspective. What a wonderful story and craftsmanship of him.
