sometimes you just need a friend like seth rogan.
i love this movie and i can't believe how I didn't find it amazing the first time I watched it an year or two ago. makes me think of how many movies I've wasted.
this is a cancer movie done right. it's lighthearted but not too light hearted. its not shallow, it has some depth and I find the balance perfect honestly. JGL was amazing in this and his character was great. the way he dealt with his cancer felt extremely real.
at first I did not like the therapist but after some time you start to realise she actually tried her best and that's what makes her so likeable. hated jgl's ex from the start , what a bitch.
seth rogan comes off as selfish and an ass for just trying to get laid all the time but that's just his way to cope for having to deal with his best friend dying soon. the scene where jgl finds the "Facing Cancer Together" book in seth's bathroom was so wholesome and proved he was a great friend.
