gahhhhhhhhhhhh this movie was absolutely EVERYTHING TO ME. genuinely if you don’t like it, you’re just simply not a michael fan and that’s okay. i absolutely loved the loreeeee that they showed behind the music videos, specifically ‘beat it’ because i have never met anyone besides my sister who knew that he got real gang affiliated members to be in that video. like really if you know you know type beat, and the lore behind the ‘thriller’ video. also knowing that fred astaire was one of his biggest inspirations and told them to film further to get his full body like stop itttttt. all my king wanted to do was be a kid. ugh i love and miss him so so much. i also loved the fact that they incorporated “not so popular” michael/jackson 5 tracks like ‘baby be mine’, ‘blame it on the boogie’ & ‘ben’. amazing amazing amazing, will be seeing it about 3 more times, i hope they make another one, there is still so much to cover. he was so ahead of his time and so fucking fresh, literally i can’t. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER MICHAEL JACKSON. my king of pop forever <33
