Altered States

I find my weird nieche! Yayyyy! I have huge love for (proper) psychodelic movies and this one hits. This one got something from everything, vivid imagery reminding me of "holy mountain" or "2001: space Odyssey" or "on silver globe. I see some Cronerberg in it as well, especially that transformation and exploration of schizophrenia. Along with hell references and twisted body horror. This is real weird shit, everything is bananas (pun intended). Truly insane, blizzard trip of different states for sure. I want whatever they got to adapt this and visualize it. Holy shit! Ken Russell slowly gaining my approval from weird movie enjoyers. What a blast!
