Cowboy Bebop

See you Space Cowboy/Cowgirl/Samurai... First few episodes were a bit hard to get in to at first, but that changed real quick. In the other hand the vibe of bounty hunting and space adventures really drove me in. Eid first episode was a stretch, but "Heavy metal queen" really got me into watching. Weirdly the so called bottled episode "toys in the attic" impressed me the most, I just adore contained space horror. The next episodes are such interesting take on immortality and impressive storytelling. Other my favorites ones include: "my funny valentine", "black dog serenade" (very la samurai/black dog way of the samurai), "mushroom samba" (ending is hilarious), "Pierrot Le fou" (pure madness) and "cowboy funk". However one of most incredible of them all is "brain wave" exploring propaganda, cult and childhood dreams. "Sympathy for the devil" has such gorgeous animation... Each character and dynamic has such a good arc with such heartbreaking outcome. One of those cases, when "filler" episodes might be just better than final ones. Ending absolutely broke me and I'm yet to see the movie. Overall I decided to watch it, because it's relatively short - 26 episodes. It's truly masterful work with great visuals and timeless tropes - I love it! Highly recommended!
