FUCK I forgot how good the build up of this was, what an experience! Starts off quite conventionally and continues that way for a while, so the increasingly disturbing stylistic flourishes are all the more impactful and unnerving when they come about. Absolutely love how the tone shifts over the course of the film. The feverish dream sequences are just brilliantly put together.
