I was in just the right mood for this and it really delivered. I didn't want it to end tbh but I really liked how it did. Just a very soothing and warm piece of filmmaking. Any cute bryologists out there wanna take me on a field trip to the woods hmu!
Sidenote: kind of weird that only a few weeks ago I read Robert Aickman's short weird-horror story "The Stains" about a man's blossoming romance with a girl who collects pieces of lichen. Bit more of a downbeat ending than this though.
