Pan's Labyrinth
masterpiece. i watched this when i was wayyyy to young and gave me nightmares for weeks but rewatching it now i can only describe it as poetic. a powerful story through the eyes of a child (usually not a fan of this POV as usually the characterisation is weak) however ofeila is compelling enough to keep me engaged in the narrative, accompanied with breath-taking fairytale creatures and grotesque villains. visually, it’s stunning. the setting, the sfxs… phenomal. cannot say a single bad thing about it if i tried. guillermo del toros brain should be in a museum.
