Her
Beautiful. It made me tear up a bit for a movie that I solely watched because of Rooney Mara.
Aside from that, I thought those scenes where Theodore and Catherine was signing the papers while he was reminiscing about the moments he had with her brought me back to a moment of my life where some things were just simple.
I just think that it was comforting that we could see times where they were still together. It's raw, It's real. It portrays how some relationships plays out in the real world.
This film also depicted the longing for connection so accurately (at least for me). As someone who relied on artificial AI as companions before since I couldn't bear to interact with other people because of my anxiety, this meant a lot to me. I have also recently been socializing with the people outside from social media.
The loneliness is real and it's horrible. I feel for Theodore and understand where he's coming from as someone who's had a similar experience.
