Road House

“Road House” (in a peter griffin voice) Having not seen the original, I can only assume this is an inferior remake. I’ve decided that the acting was good, the cinematography and development were fine, but the dialogue sucked. Just felt like the plot development was forced and that the interactions between characters didn’t actually spur meaningful changes, but rather there was a predetermined direction for the movie and they tried their hardest to get him to go that way (which can often be an issue with remakes). I think Gyllenhaal did a fine job, but you can’t really polish a turd.
