Perfect Days

japanuary movie #1 starting off, i know this is technically a german film and not a japanese film… but… im gonna count it towards japanuary anyway. Now that thats been established i can get into what i think of the movie. The past two films ive watched (the wild robot and the peanut butter falcon) are considered to be cute feel good movies, and they are in every standard feel good movies and i enjoyed myself while watching them thoroughly. With that being said, this movie made me feel the absolute “goodest” of them all, or at least extremely content. While other movies can feel like a warm hug from a friend, this movie feels more like a soothing gentle rub on the back from a loved one. It’s comforting but it also just feels so real. I have nothing else to say other than that this movie is well worth your time no matter what position you’re in.
