A tense, exciting, terrifying horror film. At first I thought it was ok but as soon as the face hugger came along, I was hooked. The xenomorph is ghastly in his looks and even though sometimes it looked goofy when you can tell it’s just a guy in a costume, what can you do? I was hugging a pillow the entire time because it was surprisingly creepy for a science fiction film, as something like the thing wasn’t that bad (in the horror department). Most of this film looks like it’s from 2010, not 1979, which seems to be the case for quite a few Scott films. Genuinely incredible.
