Michael

As someone who has seen and known this story of Michael’s life already a million times, I didn’t feel as much of the emotions that would come from learning about how tortured Michael was inside for the first time. My viewing experience was more based on how well Jaafar could portray my glorious king.  And he killed it. Both on stage and behind the scenes, he embodied his uncle like no other. You could tell that this wasn’t just some impersonation or lookalike role. Jaafar made you FEEL like you were watching a real once-in-a-lifetime concert from the biggest artist in world history. And for me, THAT’S where the real emotions were felt.  I hope and pray this is a 2-parter. I need more.
