The Thing

I hate that I don’t know who ended up being the Thing at the end, but also considering how tense and uncertain I felt throughout the entire movie - it’s really no surprise they tried to keep me on the edge of my seat until the very last second. I will say, sometimes the “gorey” scenes felt too detached visually from the rest of the movie. I felt like I was looking at plasticine more suited for a movie like Chucky, while the rest of the movie felt very realistic and atmospheric. Bit of an odd clash, but didn’t take away from the movie itself for me. Also, the soundtrack was ace.
