Ghostbusters
Why didn't more people attempt to join the crew like Winston did? With the buzz in the news, they became a overnight hit, in New York no less. Surely more than just 1 guy in New York would attempt to apply for a job, and get in on that fame.
As a diehard Ghostbusters 2 defender for life, I gotta say that after this rewatch, I find it a lot harder to defend. This movie is so perfect, one of my most watched movies ever, it's timeless, and it's still, somehow, as funny as my first watch. Some of the best cast characters in fiction, to me at least. They all have perfect chemistry. And what I really like is that all of the comedy is fit into the story without feeling cheap, like the Marshmallow Man. The pacing flows so smoothingly and every scene/plot beat feels crucial to make the story work. The sequel just feels kinda lazy in comparison. It's still better than Frozen Empire, that movie can eat shit, that movie feels even more lazy than Ghostbusters 2.
