Rushmore

OKAY FIRSTLY, the opening shot with the math problem sucked me right in, especially because the solution was spot on.  AND the lovely soundtrack AND wes anderson finding his style was the cutest thing!!! also, i cannot put my finger on it but there is a funny mechanism at work in all of wes anderson’s movies which make me care (a lot) about the characters without me realizing how or when, and it is SO SUBTLE, but yes the growth here was awesome loved this for a multitude of reasons <3
