Obsession

this was soo good. from the opening minutes I could tell curry barker really put his heart into making this film. the themes of obsession (obviously) and loneliness are seriously well displayed here, and that along with the excellent use of camera techniques and inde navarrette and michael johnston's phenomenal emotion filled acting, and rock burwell's intensely captivating score, all come together to make obsession a film I'll struggle to forget for years to come. I both really want to and can't bring myself to watch this again, the scene at the park scared the hell out of me. curry barker does an amazing job at capturing raw emotions and displaying them through film, and as weird as the premise may be- the film feels truly grounded and terrifyingly possible.
