Prisoners

dear lord I am so happy I finally got around to watch this masterpiece, I should have known with an extremely talented cast of Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal and a sensational director such as Denis Villeneuve that I was in for a treat. This may just be one of my new favourite films, I love it that much. The twists and turns of the narratives, the ever developing clues and puzzle pieces slowly slotting together to make up such an amazing story of fear, anger, hope, and what it means to be a parent. Some of the best work I’ve seen from the crime thriller genre in a long time, I’d love more from hugh, jake and denis as they make some incredible stuff together.
