how did mike de leon manage to make an hour and thirty minute film feel so long, so full with it not becoming boring at all! this was incredibly stressful. the tension was tension-ing — ou lord. ukininam niyo, tang! after reading the short story this movie was adapted from by nick joaquin, the changes they made to this movie made it even more HORRIFIC and DEVASTATING. i literally can’t believe ts just ended like that! i do wish they added the police ending from the story, but as is, this is definitely one of a kind! INANG KAPASKUHAN YAN.
