Monster
yori, i am so sorry for badmouthing you. i was manipulated by the story’s narrative, okay. i was thinking about what the worst thing that could happen. i immediately thought that yori was being a bad influence to minato or smth.
i didn’t expect this movie to turn that way. the whole thing was right in front of me the whole time yet i only realized at the end. well, that’s the main point of the movie but i had a gut feeling that this is going to be something related with yori and minato’s relationship. that train scene after yori gut hurt when minato pushed him slapped me and all of my theories were debunked. it all made sense. the whole narrative and the way the story was transitioning into different povs of the characters was chaotic and confusing at first. but, i love the way how everything that happened connected and came together like pieces of a puzzle.
everything was laid out from the very start. the whole definition of ‘monster’ was interpreted and depicted in soo many ways that throughout its duration we derailed from our tracks and forgot its true meaning along the way — completely forgetting what was important — the children.
