After just the first few minutes of watching the nostalgic film making made me realise this film was going to be very close to home. As someone who grew up with a single father due to my mother’s passing this film created a great alliance with my own memories. It enlightened my own security in my dads words, to live in time. This film is as heartwarmingly beautiful as it is tragic, speaking volumes of time passing by into the deep, unreachable realm of your memory. The use of the digital camera creates a nostalgic feeling which lets the reader connect with both leads and their portrait of a relationship.
