Barry Lyndon
This is the best Kubrick film I have seen so far. I have no complaints. Everything is so perfect about it and the storytelling is just beautiful.
Also, I understand Lord Bullingdon's side. That kid was literally abused by Barry, both physically and mentally. I am a hater of Barry's character, but he is what makes this film great. He is the real portrait of a man who will do anything in order to fit in the "aristocratic society". By that I don't mean the 18th century elite, I am talking about the timeless hierarchy, which has been popular in this world for centuries. What wouldn't a self-absorbed, corrupt, insensitive man do, to fit into that "elite" society?
