Demons

There are many things I adored in this series but also quite a handful things that I strongly disliked, especially the ending (stavrogin's final decision is much more complex than it's portrayed in the film) and the change in timelines. But I absolutely loved this. I finished the book yesterday and now I have this hyperfixation. Verkhovensky is gay and that is canon, Shatov deserved much better, Stavrogin is not the real devil, Verkhovensky is (because Pyotor survives which symbolizes the fact that the real demon is still amongst us), Liza was THE girl, Stepan Trofimovich deserved more screentime, Stavrogin might be the most complex character ever.
