Fallen Angels
was a little confused through the beginning but then started to understand that the film has no plot (like Chungking Express although it did not feel similar in the plot at all, both are amazing movies in their own right). It highlights loneliness and depression (I also liked how it was all in the night/when it was dark outside), and how some of the characters needed to understand how they were perceived by others (like blondie).
It’s all about connection and how the film ended to me felt satisfying but sad at the same time as it serves as a reminder that not everything has a solution and life is not easy like that as to make one decision and have a good outcome. It was a very mixed ending but it gave the sentiment that they could all move on to the next thing, as we all do.
This film had the most beautiful cinematography I had ever seen and was such a good experience to watch. The ending was so amazing to see since you can see the sunrise for the first and last time.
