everyone should watch this movie. It’s important to hear personal refugee stories, and this one is told with great heart, soul, and strength. I feel infinitely great full for all that i have, and this movie inspired me to help (in whatever way possible) to fix all the inhumane immigration laws administered in the US. This is one family’s refugee story, but there are countless more. Lives are continuously being destroyed while I sit here and write this. as a citizen of the US it’s easy to forget just how lucky I am to have valid papers, and a chance to build my own future freely.
Ahhhhh!! Flee warmed my heart with the reminder that every life and experience on Earth is precious. I walked away with a burning to desire to live and let live (to find the strength to fight the bystander effect at every turn). All people deserve the right to live freely with their guards down and hearts open.
