In the Heights

Absolute banger. I was smiling the whole time until I wasn’t and tears threatened to trickle down my face - but they were welcomed tears of joy. As a lover of the musical I was ready to be underwhelmed but they changed the dialogue to fit the screen and I thought it worked. The dialogue felt real which can’t be said about a lot of other movie musicals. I left the theatre feeling amazing.  Ahhh I missed the movies.
