Not a lot of dialogue is needed when Harris Dickinson can convey emotions physically, and the director knows how to set a scene. This captured so perfectly what it felt like to be a teenager/ young adult in 2006-2012. Frankie and Simone taking mirror pics with the flash on. Him in his wife beater and her in his all black hat SENT ME. Simone’s Carmella Soprano French tip nails. Everyone on the board walk for the fire works that happened every week (hi Hampton beach). Everything felt sweaty and sticky and confusing. I loved this movie.  “You kind of stink, but it’s turning me on” lol real.
