GoodFellas
One important aspect about this film is the narration. The narration was clear and richly detailed, drawing you in and making you want to absorb every piece of information.
when we get to hear Karen, Henry's wife, talk about her side of this, going from being regular housewives to getting dragged into a life of crime by her husbands, it was a great switch to move away from Henry's perspective. I wish the narration applied for all of my favorite characters in this movie (Paulie and Tommy).
I've heard a lot of praise for Martin Scorsese's infamous long continuous tracking shot, and I finally understand why. The long tracking made you feel as if you were in the movie, making the cinema experience ten times better. I also love how they broke the fourth wall when Henry was in court near the end of the film, it makes it feel like Henry is aware of our existence, making the conversation more personal and real.
