Whiplash
Every time I rewatch Whiplash or see a clip of it on my feed, I feel a surge of desire it's as if something inside me is pushing me to strive for greatness. That is precisely why it ranks among my top five most inspirational films of all time.
The finale is unquestionably the most iconic. When Andrew Neiman locks eyes with Terence Fletcher in silence before delivering his final performance, the tension is almost hard to replicate. It's a one of one sequence, other filmmakers can attempt, but it's difficult to top something that already feels like the pinnacle of that kind of energy.
Honestly, just writing this makes me want to watch it again for the sixth time.
