Moneyball

do you believe in this thing or not? it’s a problem that you think we need to explain ourselves this movie moved me to tears, what a beautiful passionate loving thing that sports bring to our lives. this year i’m so excited to fall in love with baseball this was an oakland A’s merch advertisement and i’d like a green and yellow hat and jacket now. i loved brat pitt’s performance as GM, i loved jonah hill, i loved this love letter to oakland baseball & also the behind the scenes representation of sports as a business, including trades & hard conversations & losses (in addition to wins & renewed hope & a connection to ourselves) yale, economics, baseball (jonah hill in this movie) -> columbia, psychology, basketball (me in real life)
