Wow, this really didn't live up to how I remembered it. It's okay, though. Still a pretty fun time, but it really doesn't feel as tight as the first one. The narrative is interesting in this one on the outside, but it's inside elements are lacking.

Haven't seen this one since it came out. Hey, it help up even as my tastes have grown more pretentious. I think the film is well-written with its dialogue and it's overall comedic antics. It's setpieces are relatively solid, but not the highlight of the marvel franchise. The narrative here is relatively good even if it does go into mildly safe territory. What it sets-up for its villain and the actual social messaging it has to say is really unique, it just doesn't care enough to really let it's audience feel it. I also have to love all the gadgets that Spider-Man has that I think are used to creative effect. Also...Ned. this also has really good pacing too. There is a little lull before the third act hits, but it picks up really quickly when we get that hella good reveal. Man, if this help up, then I'm sure Far From Home may still be up in my rankings. I'm still more curious if No Way Home has aged well.

Thank God I'll watch random things that are rated high because I wouldn't of ever be able to find out who this guy is and see that there's now three banging series that Italy has gotten. The self-aware humour, the brutal honesty about being a flawed human being all being set within deeply personal settings. I still think the second series is my favorite, but this one hit strong. This one felt like it had more emotional growth within its character. I definitely want more of these.

I had never heard of this until it hit theatres. I can be a mixed bag with stage musicals and unfortunately this is on the latter half for me. There is things that do work for me. I think the stage is utilized well. I think there is a decent variety of music sung here. I also do love the song that Orpheus sings. It's giving off Jeff Buckley vibes and I'm all for it. Also, Hades sounded like old Iggy Pop and that was great as well. What doesn't work for me is the pacing of its narrative. It's a retelling of Greek mythology and, when it comes to its narrative approach, it's quite bland. Sometimes musicals can be really strong on its narrative front. Some that come to mind for me are Sunday in the Park With George or recently my watch of Merrily We Roll Along. I did not find a lot to chew on here and was quite frankly bored for a lot of this. So...it's got some artistic merit to it for sure, but I just can not actually find much to hook me. Also...just like the fucking Oddysey, it wanting to play on the fact that it's a mythic tale haha...I do know that's it's a good layering, but I just fucking expect it now. Also, i do find it funny Hades being called Hell often or not in this. Iykyk. Yeah. I'm tired now. And I feel bad for the poor guy beside me in the parking lot who asked me if I left my door unlocked because someone went looking through his car during the movie. Luckily, I wasnt, but I had fuck all in there anyways.
